The gorgeous Mount Ephraim wedding venue, a Victorian manor house in Faversham, is not far from my seaside home in Whitstable. When Sarah told me this was the venue for her and Jon’s wedding, I had my fingers crossed that they and their guests would have the chance to enjoy the 10 acres of classical well-kept gardens and stunning countryside views in the sunshine. Sadly, but unsurprisingly for a February wedding, this was wishful thinking. We woke up to a wintry cold, windy and rainy day. There was no way that was going to stop the lovely bride and groom making the most of the beautiful venue and their special day though; they and their cheery guests made the day feel like summer.
Sarah enjoyed a lovely light and airy room upstairs where she and her best girls had lots of fun getting ready. With cute classic flower girls and quirky vintage-styled bridesmaids, elegant cupcake towers, jars of sweetie favours and a lovely navy theme, Sarah’s style choices made this Mount Ephraim wedding one to remember. Not to forget her stunning figure-hugging halter-neck dress, which she found amongst other vintage styled frocks at local bridal boutique, Chilham Bridal.
The personality of this lovely couple made everyone forget the weather outside and we all enjoyed a day of love and laughter, with lots of lovely personal touches that made the Mount Ephraim wedding venue their own.
